    F1 venue to be turned into shelter home for 5,000

    The Buddh International Circuit, the sports facility that hosted the Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2011, will be used as a shelter home for migrant workers who are headed for their native villages in the aftermath of the lockdown. The district administration has decided to set up makeshift structures to house the migrants. They will not be allowed in the core part of the FIR circuit, which includes rooms for sportspersons, coaches and staff.
